She always has a strong interest in characters, using clothes as a method of revealing something in their identity with a link to a place and time. Her most recent film was shortlisted for the fashion film festival; A shaded View of Fashion Film with Diane Pernet 2012 in Barcelona.Alex’s aesthetic is rooted in her interpretation of types of masculinity. In this collection she has been daring and confident with colour, refining and simplifying the details and finishes. A reflection of the man wearing the clothes.

NADINE PETERSE: nadine.gpeters@gmail.com M: 079 6098 4510 http://nadinepeters.carbonmade.com/
Nadine’s debut collection titled ‘Princley- Prince of all Men’, is loosely based on the dynamic format of grand scale gardens and the beauty of nature. Her starting point began with the unspoken spirit of her grandfather’s talent with the creative arts (tailoring). Nadine has created an energetic collection, which evokes colour, texture, prints and inspiring silhouettes. ‘Princley –Prince of all Men’, is about style and flair, drawing inspiration from the 70’s style of Jamaican classic films such as ‘Rockers’ and combining the elegance of Joseph Princley Peters’ individual manner.Nadine not only looked to her grandfather and family as muses but also was inspired by Miles Davis and Jean Michel Basquiat, for not just their effortless style and engaging confidence, but for their association with music and their vivid coloury. Consequently, this is why Nadine Peters not only wants to in-store ‘Power’ back into a man’s walk, but also their wardrobe.
